- R & R Alpacas' dedicated 10 year breeding program is producing fibre that has fineness, crimp, density, and lustre, as well as solid, correct conformation and bone structure in the body of its alpacas.
- Many fleeces exhibit
characteristic Vicuna fineness.
- Exceptional males and females are for sale at the farm.
- R & R Alpacas produced SPIDERMAN, the highest selling alpaca at the 2nd Annual Canadian National Select Sale & Futurity, April 19, 2003 at Red Deer, Alberta.
- Limited outside breedings are available to some top quality R & R herdsires.

- Rod continues to manage
the herd, the shearing, and promoting the R & R Alpaca farm and the Alpaca
Industry.
- Ruth continues with her community and fibre interests, as well as managing the National Fibre Centre & Testing Lab at the Olds College Centre for Innovation; conducting the joint Alpaca Fibre/Nutrition Research Project; sitting on the Board of the Canadian Camelid Fibre Co-op; and teaching fibre seminars throughout Canada and the U.S.A.
