HYBLADE


HyBlade is a red speckled Australian Cattle Dog who was born March 23, 2000, to two blue, black and tan ACDs. Up until now this was considered an impossibility...a red outta blues! His breeder, Suzanne Nevada of Alaska's SilverAurora's Kennels (visit Silver Aurora's page in the Canine Breeders section of this website), had HyBlade, his brother Dusty, his dam and his sire all American Kennel Club DNA parentage tested.

HyBlade is a fabulous dog and it has been quite interesting watching him grow up. He has been BAER tested bilateral to 50 decibles, was CERF tested CLEAR November 2000 & 2001 and will be OFA hip and elbow exrayed when he is over two years of age. He is working in harness as a wheel dog in the Rat Ranch sled dog team. HyBlade took Best Puppy on February 2, 2001, at Calgary in senior puppy class for breed. In November, 2001 at Red Deer, he earned six of the ten CKC points he needs for his championship all during one weekend show.
