2nd Annual Kelowna Miata Gathering I got information in the mail recently regarding the multi-day Kelowna Getaway Weekend event, hosted by Vancouver's Sea to Sky Chapter, May 26-28. A block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express has been set aside for $75/night (single or double occupancy) or $85/night (four to a room). If you'd like to attend the 2nd Annual Kelowna multi-chapter event, you can contact the Holiday Inn Express at 1-800-465-0200 to make your reservation. When you've done that, you are requested to e-mail Laura Angus of Sea to Sky at yellowsunburst@hotmail.com so that she can get a head count for other arrangements that are being worked on (restaurants, events, etc). Reservations must be made prior to April 26th, so hop to it! Former Wild Rose Chapter members John & Jenny K, who now live in Kelowna, are sure to be there, as they were last year. Invitations have been sent to Wild Rose, Canadian Rockies, Sea to Sky, and Vancouver Isle chapters... For pictures of last year's event, head to the Miata Links page on our website and follow it through to the Sea to Sky chapter's pages, then their Archive section... looks like we missed a good one last year.
