After attending a meeting last evening [Sep 5th] of the Celica/Supra Car Club, I now have the final details on The Salute to the Rising Sun Show & Shine. The location has been finalized, having being bounced around from several shopping centres, and is the Bonnie Doon Shopping Centre (east side opposite Zellers). The date is still the same, September 29th, with registration from 9-10 a.m. The registration fee is $10.00 per car payable at time of arrival - 50% of fee goes to charity, 50% goes to offset the price of event promotion. The show runs from 10am - 4pm.

The host club has arranged for approximately 20 prizes for different catagories of cars (Toyota Celicas / Supras, Datsun Z-cars, Mazda RX-7s & MX-5 Miatas, etc.). This is close to our final event of the season, so it would be nice to see as many of our members come out as possible.
