Pictures: Map • Page 1 • Page 2 • Page 3 • Page 4 • Page 5 Fall Colours Run 26Sep99 Pics 3 The drive started out innocently enough... nine Miatas pulled out of the Gateway Park parking lot around 2:30PM, and headed at a smart pace towards our first turn west into the foothhills via Highways 19, 60, and 39. There was some playful jockeying for position, but on the whole the cavalcade moved easily, if not quite legally, through the light traffic. Sometime before Telfordville, somebody cracked and the train of Miatas got more spread out as the front runners set a steaming pace while those of us in back eased the throttles up into "That's not speeding, that's dangerous driving" territory. By the time we approached Seba Beach, I couldn't steady my camera well enough to take any more shots through my windshield, and peering through a telephoto lens while driving at... um... speed is a startling experience I don't recommend!
