- Handbell Music

- Jesus Loves Me
- Arr. Sherman
- 3456 Octaves
-
- This is a wonderful arrangement of this well know hymn. Arnold
Sherman has been creative and made this simple hymn really
interesting. The music starts traditionally with the melody in the
treble bells with an arpeggio accompaniment. The key changes and
the melody moves to the bass bells. During the last verse, the key
moves back the original. the music builds and broadens and the
accompaniemetn moves to flowing triplets. The last seven measures
move from double forte to piano - leaving the listener knowing
that Jesus Loves them.

- Dance Jubilee
- By McChesney
- 345 Octaves with 34 octave Choirchimes®:
- Tambourine or Drum: Flute, Recorder or C-Instrument: Guitar:
Bass
- Level 3
-
- This lively original handbell music is written in 6/8 which
gives it a wonderful lilt rhythm. The music can be played by
handbells alone but I would encourage you to include other
musicians to add to your presentation. With the addition of the
optional instruments, it will really add variety to the program
for both ringers and listeners.

- Nocturne in C Minor
- By Helman
- 345 Octaves Optional Choirchimes®
- Level 4
-
- Initially when I saw this music score, I was surprised that it
was a level 4 - but then we played it! It starts and ends with a
wonderful haunting melody played on Choirchimes® in a minor
key at an adagio tempo. Lots happens between the beginning and end
- it has 5 key changes and many different melodies and
accompaniment patterns. With the addition of wonderful phasing and
dynamics, this piece will leave your listeners filled with
emotion.

- Les Miserables Medley
- Arr. McChesney
- 345 Octaves
- Level 3+
-
- This medley includes At the End of the Day, I Dreamed a Dream,
On My Own and Do You Hear the People Sing. The challenge in this
music will be the transition between the different pieces and
getting the tempos correct. This will be a great audience
pleaser!
