This is a copy of the hand-written portion of the first land grant issued to John Reynolds. It appears that this land was originally issued to a George Brown and later relinquished for re issue to John Reynolds in 1859.

This is a copy of the hand-written portion of the second land grant issued to John Reynolds. It is situated on the other side and upstream on the Magaguadavic River where the original homeplace stood. I recall as a child when my father walked with us to a site between the existing house and the dam and showed us the place where the original log house was built.
