This is the only current database of Alberta Masters track and field, road racing and race walk records and is sanctioned by the Alberta Director of the Canadian Masters Athletic Association. Alberta residents are invited to submit performances which better the listed Alberta Masters or Sub-Masters records. If there is no previous record, a submitted performance will automatically establish a  new record until a superior one is submitted. Only records set at meets sanctioned by provincial, national or international athletic organizations will be accepted. Track times must be from electronic timing and be accurate to one-hundredth of a second. In accordance with provincial, national and international standards for the appropriate outdoor events, only a wind speed of 2 metres per second or less is acceptable for a record to be ratified.
