Deport U.S. Diplomat

It is ironic that Maher Arar, an innocent Canadian, still cannot travel to the United States (and other countries), while people like U.S. President George W. Bush and his associates, who launched an unprovoked invasion of another country, still may travel freely in Canada.

While Arar has been exonerated completely, the world’s case against Bush et al is rock solid, and the glaring evidence of their wrongdoing undeniable. The difference, of course, is that between the powerless and the powerful.

Rather than allow our elected representatives to be “scolded” by a confused U.S. Ambassador David Wilkins, we should educate Wilkins on this matter.

Wilkins should simply be deported back to the U.S., and not be allowed to re-enter our sovereign nation until he gets up to speed and convinces his own confused leaders that Arar’s innocence is indeed far more certain than that of his unscrupulous bosses in Washington.
