Dear friends and family
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free.
I’m following the path fate has laid you see.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
I found my peace at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joys:
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
O yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with time of sorrow.
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full. I’ve savoured much:
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.
Perhaps my time seemed rather brief.
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.

Obituary
NEAME – Shirley Anne (Webster) 1929 – 2002
Shirley Anne Neame (nee Webster), beloved wife of Norman Neame of Calgary, passed away peacefully at home on November 26, 2002 at the age of 73 years. Shirley will be dearly missed by her loving husband Norman of 49 years; her children Carol, David, Roger (Evelyn), Bailey (Shelley); her four grandchildren Rachelle, Alexander, Tobyn and Teegan; her sister Faith Clinton, and brothers Robert and Jim Webster.
A Memorial Service will be held at the McInnis & Holloway’s “Chapel of the Bells”, (2720 Centre Street N.) on Monday December 2, 2002 at 3:00 pm
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirley’s memory to the Alberta Cancer Foundation c/o Tom Baker Cancer Clinic.
