A sliver of lifes pure sunshine
Has slipped from this earthly home
And now rests in the arms of heaven
Though leaves us to go on alone

Your loved one's burdens ended
When they crossed the great divide
Safe at the side of the Master
In his house they'll forever abide

Time and grace will heal your sorrow
Know the Master's always near
May your heart find real comfort
In the memories you hold dear
