 Examples #1 - #6 on this page use an active Bass Drum in the FIRST HALF of the bar. Examples #7 - #10 use an active Bass Drum in the SECOND HALF of the bar. In the pages that follow, I have COMBINED examples #2 - #6 with examples #7 - #10 to cover as many options as possible. I have omitted all of the rests to avoid cluttering and thus allow for easier reading.
