I can't believe how fast it all happened the second time around. I really didn't plan on being pg again so fast, but here we are :) We're very happy about everything though!

This time was very different from the first. I was very nauseated again, but this time the diclectin worked like a dream! I was so happy for that. I had a stitch put in my cervix at 12 weeks, because of all the problems that I had with Brooklyn. It was pretty uncomfortable. I felt a constant pressure in my pelvis, and was so happy to have it come out at 36 weeks!! We thought I'd have a premie again, especially when at 30 weeks, I was 1 cm dilated. I had to go off work again (just barely got enough hours for mat leave!!) and try to take it easy. Yeah, right, easy to do with a 15 month old at home :)

By the time the stitch came out, I was ready to have this baby! I was almost 4 cms, and having painful contractions fairly often. Zach had other ideas though :) He decided he wanted to stick around for a while. He didn't come until after 38 weeks, and I was schedualed to be induced, because I was going insane!!

We decided to induce, and I was schedualed for Sept. 10. There were so many that day, that I ended up getting bumped :( I was really upset, didn't want to have him on the 11th, so we decided to wait until the day after. All day on the 10th the contractions were coming and going, but not progressing, only making me crazy! finally, at about 11 pm, they were so painful, I told Lyall that I needed to go in, if only for some drugs. When we got there at 12:15, I was 6 cms! They admitted me, and gave me an epidural right away (Which was heavenly LOL). I could still feel everything, and move my legs, there was just no pain, it was the best way to have it. Just before 2, I was checked again, and still at 6 cms, so they broke my water. Well, 10 minutes later, I felt the urge to push. When she checked me, I was at 9!!! Zach was born at 2:32, after only 3 contractions, it was a great delivery!! He was wonderful to, very healthy, 6 lbs, 7 oz, and 20 inches long. I'll get his own page up shortly, with pictures of my newest beautiful baby.
