GasBU for
Windows
|
|
The GasBU program generated the following graphs using an example
file supplied with the program. In this example, a 3-component sweet gas sample
and 29-pressure build up points are used to complete a Horner - Pressure
Squared analysis. The example was
taken from Theory and Practice of the Testing of Gas Wells, ERCB, Fourth
Edition, 1979, Modified Isochronal Test, ERCB example 5-1.

This is a graph of the 3-component analysis representing the sweet gas
of the reservoir.

|
This is a graph of the static sandface pressures versus builup
time. Note that only selected
pressure data points were used in this interpretation.
|
|

|
This is a graph of the static sandface pressures versus builup time on
a log scale.

|

|
This is a graph of the static sandface pressures versus the log of the
Horner time. Only selected points
were used in this interpretation. The
straight line indicates that the well is infinite acting. This line will be used to determine the
reservoir permeability and the skin effect.

This is a graph of the static sandface pressures versus the Horner time
on a log scale. Only selected points
were used in this interpretation. In
effect this is the same graph as above, and can be used in a similar manner.

|
This is a table from one of the many reports. The report summarizes buildup time, static sandface pressure,
and Horner time.
|
|

|
This report summarizes the results of the Horner - Pressure Squared
analysis. The results include: reservoir permeability, skin effect, flow
efficiency, effective wellbore radius, etc.
