Description

This program generates relative permeability curves for a pool under Internal Gas Drive based on the historical production, and pressure data of the pool. Production history includes volumes of oil, water, gas production and water injection.

 

Application

Applications include:

  • Validation Material Balance Analysis results.
  • Generate Relative Permeability Curves based on historical production and pressure data.
  • Relative Permeability Curves can be extrapolated from current conditions to abandonment conditions
  • Results can be used to generate a production forecast for a pool under Internal Gas Drive.

Input Data

This program requires PVT data (Bo, Rs, Bg, and Bw, Uo, and Ug), Pool reservoir data, and Production (cumulative oil, water, and gas) / Pressure history for each pool.

 

Output Data

This program uses the material balance equation to calculate the reservoir pressure, fluid saturations (So, Sw, Sl and Sg), and Permeability ratio (Krg/Kro) for each historical production data supplied. Many different reports and graph are available.
