PermGen for Windows

The PermGen program generated the following graphs using an example file supplied with the program. In this example, a single well produces from a large reservoir. The PVT data and production data and historical pressure data was specified. No volumetric data was available. The example was taken from L. P. Dake, The Practice of Reservoir Engineering, Elsevier, 1994, Exercise 3.3, p.106-109.

This is a graph of Calculated Reservoir Pressure versus Historical Pressure. Note the extremely good match with all historical data points.

This is a graph of the historical reservoir pressure versus time. In this example, the initial pressure is 7150 psia, while the bubble point is at 4500 psia. Note the 'break' in the trend line below the bubble point.

This is a graph of the historical GOR and cumulative GOR versus time. Note the GOR increased sharply once the bubble point was reached.

This is a graph of the calculated oil, water, and gas saturations versus time.

This is a graph of the calculated oil, water, and gas saturations versus cumulative oil recovery.

This is a graph of the calculated permeability ratio (Krg/Kro) versus liquid saturation on a log scale.
