April 29th:
Lots o' stuff to see here! I've finally updated this army page and have a whole whack of new stuff that I've posted. Check out the Battelog for my two most recent encounters with the Orcs and Goblins and the Army List page for info about all the armies that I've designed and played thus far.
To come:
1) hopefully a couple short stories explaining the background and nature of my Plague Priest General (yet to be named) who has yet to be defeated in combat.
2) Pictures of new models I've painted

Background: Why, do you ask, would I want to play such a race? Well, bascially I wanted something different from the Wood Elves I was already collecting - something meaner! And I didn't want any more elves, so the Dark Elves were out. My husband Scott and his brother Eric were collecting the Empire, Vampire Counts, Orcs and Goblins and Chaos, so those were out. The Lizardmen and Beastmen didn't seem too appealing, so I figured what the heck? I'll go with Skaven! I'm glad I did because I've grown to like them a lot. I like to think of them as a combination between samurai (they have a very Asian feel to them) and engineers (with all of their neat contraptions and weapons).
So, what better way to celebrate my enthusiasm for these small, furry yet dangerous creatures than with a webpage? :) Right now I have very little in the way of information, but I hope that in the next few months I will have more to offer as my army takes shape. Enjoy!
