Dr. Tom Brown
Ph.D., C. Psych. (Alberta) Counselling Psychologist Tom has extensive experience as a consulting psychologist in Alberta. He has been a teacher, guidance counsellor, and assistant superintendent (student services). Tom has counselled adults in community college and university settings, and has taught courses in education, psychology and counselling at Memorial University, and more recently the University of Lethbridge. Tom also has extensive experience in the field of EEG neurotherapy, having been a partner in Neuropsych Plus in Calgary from 1994 to 1999. A graduate of the University of Alberta, Tom has served as president of the Atlantic Guidance and Counselling Association and the Association of Newfoundland Psychologists, as well as the Alberta Association of School Psychologists. He is a member of the Canadian Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology (C.R.H.S.P.P.) As a result of his extensive training and experience in school systems, college and university counselling centres, Tom has developed special interest and expertise in the area of attention and learning difficulties of children and adults.
