I have a love for the strength, versatility, intelligence and temperment of this breed. As an all round dog they should continue to demonstate these qualities and I am ensuring these aspects of the breed remain in my breeding program.
Teka is my dream come true. Rather out of proportion when we purchased her (thank goodness for growth spurts) she blossomed two weeks later and because of personal commitments I was not able to show her until age 2. She entered the rings naieve and untrained (farm dog goes to city) and left quite the impression. This was the "Disney" fantasy. She very quickly became a Canadian Champion. We made the decision to concentrate on showing her offspring instead of her and thus came her first litter, after breeding her to a wonderful dog, American/Canadian Ch Cherren's On the Road Again AM/CDN CD WCI
I breed the occasional litter after testing for hips, eyes, and heart conditions so please inquire if you are interested in having a puppy or adult. All the puppies are sold on CKC non-breeding agreements, as well as our own buyers' contract. They are tattooed, microchipped, given their appropriate innoculations and worming, temperment tested and registered with the Canadian Kennel Club. As I have children, the puppies have ample socialization and as well, I introduce them to various stimuli in order to ensure a confident, friendly personality.
All prospective homes are carefully screened. Please remember that I have invested a lot of heart, energy, time and funds into researching, testing, training, showing, matching stud dogs, breeding and raising a puppy for a long, happy and healthy life and by carefully placing the puppies I have some piece of mind in knowing I did my best to ensure against, neglect or reproduction of inferior breeding dogs.
