Targhee Sheep

After being into Angora Goats for a number of years I made the transition to sheep and dearly love what a small sheep herd have to offer to our family, and to my spirit.

I chose this breed

for a number of reasons, one of which is their superb wool. They also produce

wonderful lambs, while being easy keepers (after all, who needs more work and

expense). I now have fleece for sale by the pound or as whole skirted fleeces. I also have some black wool Targhee/Ramb./Columbia x fleeces which are also beautiful.

Here are some suggested links if you are interested in these sheep and wish to know more about them as a breed.
