| Forgotten Isles (island.mid) | 48kb | Like Days of History, this is another conglomerate of traditional style,
this time mixed into a work for full orchestra. Starts off as a light melody
with bass accompaniment and turns into a fanfare for horns. The orchestra
is set up as realistically as possible, with the instruments coming from
the correct stereo channels. (4:31)

| Evening in the Stars (evening.mid) | 30kb | A light jazz piece for piano and guitar, with stringed and synthetic accompaniment. (5:39) |
| Tek1.mid | 25kb | Another experiment with techno beats, this time, in "industrial techno" style. (1:51) |
| The Elite and the Enemy (theenemy.mid) | 156 kb | I have always liked choral works. The Yamaha synth's "choir" sounds
better than many other software synths I have tried. Hence, I decided to
give a symphonic choral work a try. This is an attempt at a choral symphonic
piece, kind of a march in the beginning and a slower B section that slowly
builds up back to the main theme.(7:00)

| Days of History (days.mid) | 51kb | What started out as a midieval-style melody developed into a short piece that's a cross between a celtic, spanish and midieval piece... ah the joys of categorizing music ;-) Maybe I'll just simplify things and say that its a folk piece. There. That's better. (2:18) |
| Caught in the Rush (battle.mid) | 51kb
10kb |
Two short studies in orchestral-techno style, possible battle and victory themes... In reality, they are just experimental though. Lengths are (3:35) and (0:40) respectively. |
| To the Forgotten Ones (Landxg.mid) | 65kb | This song used to be in the Wavesynth section below, but I rearranged it for the Yamaha XG synth and I think it sounds much clearer. Possibly an overworld/map theme.(11:20) |
| "My Life With Staral" (staralxg.mid) | 35kb | This song, like so many others, just unexpectedly popped into my head. It is a slow, electronic piece, an experiment with sounds and textures, played when in a prison on a starship. What genre does it fit into, you ask? I sat and scratched my head over for a long time. It's not quite ambient, new age, electronic, industrial.... If you figure it out, let me know.(3:43) |

| Dreams of Loneliness (Dreamof.mid) | 102kb | We have another winner! Winner of two awards, actually!!
A rhythmic and melodic piece. (6:00) |
| The Last Stand (last.mid) | 53kb | This piece was one of the winners of December 1997's
A fast, pounding symphonic piece. Final boss music, maybe?(4:43) |
| Ruins (celti.mid) | 26kb | Short, melodic piece. Nothing outstandingly original, the piece was intended to feature only a simple melody. (2:09) |
| Ice Mountains (icerealm.mid) | 111kb | This piece is a soft, melodic rhythmic mix. An experiment with textures. (5:10) |
| Journey (journey.mid) | 46kb | A longer piece, a slow, quiet symphonic thing with a build-up to the climax. This piece was more of an attempt at a slow, thoughtful melody line. (9:07) |
| Woods (wood.mid) | 8kb | A tribal percussion piece, very repetitive, no melody, but fitting for the portion of the game. I myself think I could do better ;-) , but others thought that it is catchy. So it stays. (3:27) |
| The Wedding Theme (wedding.mid) | 55kb | A piece for pipe organ and synthesized orchestra, theme and variations. (6:27) |
