• "We've now hard wired 16 of our 22 rooms with high speed internet jacks going through Shaw. Make sure to ask for a room with a free internet connection if you need it.

  Our high-speed internet project has evolved from wireless to wired with high speed Cat 5 jacks in the three front buildings. It's faster and the coverage is consistently the same high quality in every room that has a jack. The back building will get the same treatment soon.

   

  Our family has owned and operated the Sunset Motel for 27 years and despite the ups and downs of tourism since 9/11, we've thoroughly enjoyed our involvement in the hospitality business. We wish to thank all our Guests and Staff past, present, and future for making our jobs so much fun. With the upcoming provincial Police College development in Fort Macleod, the next few years promise to be very interesting.

  P.S. For those of you who've asked, yes, the red & green neon motel sign (briefly) shown in the Corb Lund music video "Family Reunion" playing once in awhile on CMT is our roof sign. Thanks for noticing!
