Scott A. Harling was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He achieved a diploma in Sports Administration from Mount Royal College in Calgary. Following this, he attended the University of Lethbridge where he graduated, with distinction, from the faculty of Management. Scott then returned to Winnipeg where he obtained his LL.B. from the University of Manitoba. Scott began his articles in 2006 at Torry Lewis Abells LLP and was called to the bar in 2007.

Scott takes an active role in the All Saints Parish and volunteers on the boards of the Young Professionals Association of Lethbridge and the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns Booster club. Scott also volunteers for Lethbridge Legal Guidance and has given seminars for the Public Legal Education Network of Alberta.

Scott's preferred area's of practice include: corporate / commercial, family law, wills and estates, real estate, employment law, and civil litigation.
