
Ken's preferred areas of practice is civil litigation of all forms with an emphasis on:
Ken has practiced law in Lethbridge since 1975. He has conducted many trials, appeals, mediations and arbitrations. He continues a very active civil litigation practice.
He lectured for 15 years at the University of Lethbridge in the Department of Nursing and Health Sciences on topics relative to medical law.
Ken has lectured extensively in areas of health law outside of the University setting and he has participated as a lecturer in seminars presented by the Legal Education Society of Alberta.
Involvement in the community and in the profession has lead Ken to participate as a member of the Alberta Press Council, the Lethbridge Community Foundation (as Director and Chair), the Lethbridge Bar Association (Past President), the Lethbridge Community Band Society, the Rotary Club of Lethbridge and many musical and arts organizations, to name a very few.
Ken's legal practice is technologically progressive, making use of numerous forms of litigation support software, which enables better management of large litigation claims.
In 2000 Ken was appointed Queen's Counsel.
