  • banking, commercial and agricultural matters
  • contract disputes
  • corporate and shareholder disputes

Ken began his legal career in Lethbridge in 1973 and has served clients in the community since that time. He spent 23 years with the law firm of Virtue & Co. before becoming a founding partner of Torry Lewis Abells LLP in 1996.

In 1994 Ken was appointed Queen's Counsel. Since 1990, he has lectured in the Faculty of Management at the University of Lethbridge.

Ken is a past director of the Lethbridge YMCA, past executive member of the Lethbridge Jaycees, past president of the Lethbridge Bar Association. He currently is a member of the Alberta Criminal Injuries Review Board.
