
Sharon M. Sproule was born and raised in Lethbridge graduating from the University of Calgary Faculty of Law in 1996, receiving the Grant McKibben prize. Sharon began her legal career in 1996 in Lethbridge and was admitted to the practice of law in 1997. Sharon has had broad experience in general practice, with a particular emphasis in litigation matters. Sharon joined the law firm of Torry Lewis Abells LLP in September 2003. Sharon has been a frequent guest lecturer at Southern Alberta junior high and senior high schools on topics ranging from the criminal justice system to human rights and the Charter. In addition, Sharon has served as a sessional lecturer at the University of Lethbridge in the Faculty of Management, on the Fundamentals of Legal Research. She is also a past presenter for the Lethbridge branch of the Alberta Women's Enterprise Initiative Association (AWEIA). Sharon is currently a member of the Lethbridge Family Services Board of Directors.
Sharon's preferred areas of practice are civil litigation, matrimonial & family law, wills & Estates, real estate and personal injury.
