Alberta's Ralph Klein is Canada's longest serving
active Premier, serving 13 years as of December 16, 2005. He is the 18th longest
serving Premier in Canadian history, and has the third longest administration in
Alberta, behind Ernest Manning (1943-1968) and Peter Lougheed (1971-1985).
To pass Lougheed, who is 15th on this list, Klein would have to serve until at
least February, 2007. |
