Prophetic Comparison of:
the Beasts of Daniel 7, the Horses of Zechariah 6,
and the Horses of Revelation 6
(All scriptures used from the NASB)
Many years ago I asked the Lord about any connection between the horses of Zechariah and Revelation. To my surprise He said there was a three way connection between the beasts of Daniel, and the horses of both books.
He also stated that the relationship is not by the description or colour of the horses, but by the place (first, second, etc.) they hold in the individual scriptures. That is, the first beast in Daniel is to be compared to the first horse in Zechariah and the first horse in Revelation, and so on.
The Lord also showed me how the beasts in Daniel are to be translated.
The lion is Great Britain.
The eagle is the United States of America. (In 1782 The US chose the bald eagle as its national symbol).
The bear is Russia.
The leopard is China. With a little research using Abingdon’s Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, I determined that the leopard could be translated either as a leopard, or tiger. According to Strong’s the chaldean word means “to spot or stain as if by dripping; a leopard (from its stripes).” A tiger also has stripes. However you translate it, this represents China.
The fourth beast in Daniel is obvious to any Bible prophecy student. It is the anti-christ and his kingdom.
After receiving this revelation I did a little study and realized that there is an excellent correlation between these scriptures and this interpretation.
On the next page I have compiled a chart showing how this correlation works.
