Beware The Mocking Bird!

Well before I saw the vision of the Giant Hideous Bird In America, I was being constantly reminded in my spirit of this cute and charming little bird, called the Mockingbird.
There is such a ‘Mockingbird ‘prophetic’ voice’, being heard in and from America, more specifically. This ‘Mockingbird-type’ prophetic voice, speaks not from God, but imitates, the voice of the messengers of God. This Mockingbird is very jealous, and vindictive, and wants to keep out the true prophets from prophesying in America, whether they are from within the country or outside. This mimicking voice, wants to keep the people in the land engaged with it’s own ‘rendering’ of the true prophetic voice. It can give any number of prophecies in succession, it will constantly ‘confirm’ and ‘witness’ to every prophecy that comes, be it true or false. These ‘Mockingbird-type’ Christians are ‘positive speakers’, love making ‘declarations’ and will speak as if they’ve just come from ‘advising God’.
Totally mixed up, they come from backgrounds where they can’t handle the pressures of real life. Imitating the prophetic started as a ‘hobby’ but the attention they receive has made them pursue this as if it’s to be a lifetime’s occupation. This ‘occupation of mimicry’ helps them whitewash the filth that exists in their own lives. Incorrect interpretations / serious doctrinal errors, are just ‘mere things’ to such. If there is biblical error in their ‘singing,’ they’ll admit to it, as if it’s no big deal. Many think that this is a praiseworthy attitude and are in awe of the ‘humility’, these birds show. They seem down-to-earth, and are very ‘politically correct’. They play ‘popular’ tunes, speak whatever people like to hear, and their prophecies are about safe topics that are bound to have popular appeal amongst many Christians.
All ‘true but unpleasant to confront topics’ are veered away from and not dealt with, and those that might confront them are waved away with ‘Grace of God’ will deal with the problem, not us, and if the people don’t back off from confronting them, they have revelations of a ‘religious spirit’ dwelling in the confronter. They manipulate, and are stubborn. They can be found in fellowships, and on Christian forums. Their aim is to ‘take-over’. Because of their charming, spiritually coquettish ways, there are those undiscerning ones who do not see them as a threat. Slowly but surely church leaders/moderators watch out, they are already ‘doing your job’ ‘Absalom-style!’ They repeat oft repeated true as well as false prophecies, so many undiscerning, jump to hear/read, but the substance is but a re-hashing of the old. These Mockingbirds are wily but not clever enough so are easily lured and seduced by the even more dangerous ‘spiritual wolves’, which by flattery lure them into their chambers.
These Mockingbird-types and more dangerous infiltrators have long entered fellowships and Internet forums, where the watchmen, (pastors/managers/moderators/Internet site-owners) for the sake of cheap popularity and their weak emotions have allowed them in, and have let their biblical errors go uncorrected. The Mockingbird wants to usurp. They do not believe in accountability.
This ‘Christian’ Mockingbird, awakens early in the morning and checks all the prophetic messages coming in, and then does a medley in his/her own name. It’s like a synopsis of true and false prophecies, written under their own name but ‘inspired’ from elsewhere. Many undiscerning Christians think this is the voice of a ‘young immature prophet’ who needs to be encouraged, so when there’s a jarring note, even the older prophets brush it off, thinking, the ‘young prophet’ will grow out of the ‘frailties’ they detect in their spirits.
Many Christians enjoy listening to the Mockingbird. The Mockingbird appears playful, jovial, and ‘innocent’. They have learnt that for the sake of survival, they must not be confrontational. They are weak in their knowledge and understanding of the Word of God, but by their many charms, and elusive ways, and veiled accusations refuse to come under scrutiny, labeling those who might want to scrutinize them as Pharisees. They detest all talk of submission to the Word of God, and despise, nay, loathe godly disciple. Their tongues are ever-ready and they pretend to know everything, and what they don’t understand, they cover cleverly with seemingly profound words attributing it to be the ‘Grace’ of God. They are people who suffer from low self-esteem and are insecure.
From Christians they seek worth and value, and attention. Going to God for their needs is too lengthy a process for such. They can very quickly lose focus and go off on a tangent. They engage in too much loose talk. They have an opinion on all things, which half-way through the conversation, turns into a ‘Thus Says the Lord’, and their ‘supernatural’ experiences now turned into a ‘solemn’ word for ALL the Body of Christ. They prefer to talk vaguely about the Spirit of God, rather than specifically of the Word of God.
This Mockingbird is dangerous. Full of works, constantly seeking attention and approval. The Mockingbird is NOT an eagle, but wants to ‘play with the big boys’. Their attitude is ‘hey! Prophecy is no big deal, look, even I can do it”.
BEWARE THE MOCKINGBIRD! They are being used by the enemy to send confusion into the camp, and persecute the true voice of prophecy. They are distracting Christians and taking them away from focusing/studying /hearing God’s Word. They keep the onlookers/listeners constantly engaged with their banter. STOP. LISTEN. DISCERN. Are you listening to the prophetic voice or that of the mimicry of the Mockingbird?
