CHINOOK COUNTRY CATTLE COMPANY

Our introduction to the Pinzgauer breed happened in 1972, the year they first arrived from Austria. A few imports and a lot of black baldies formed the basis for the Chinook Country Herd. It has since evolved into fullbloods and domestic purebreds and with the acquisition of polled Pinzgauer genetics from Austria, our breeding program has diversified. We have the opportunity to expand a very limited gene pool and recently collected semen on a new and exciting herdsire.

As breeders of the first Polled Fullblood Pinzgauers in North America we proudly introduce:

HALLER WAR DANCE

  • Born: February 10, 1996 Polled Canadian Fullblood bull

  • Sire: Haller Wasti (Austrian import)

  • Dam: Kayenne

  • Semen available from Universal Genetics, Cardston AB
