The Amateur Bands in CanadaThe qualifications for all HF operation will be changed around March 2001 at this time the 12 wpm will be dropped and anyone who has 5 wpm cw will be grandfathered into the use of all HF bands. The following table, is a representation of the Canadian Amateur Radio Band Plan, as of July, 1999. I have taken the liberty of copying this bandplan from the RAC home page. More information on the Canadian Band Plan can be obtained from the RAC's Band Plan web page at http://www.rac.ca/bandplan.htm.
Notes:
"B" means an Amateur Operators
Certificate with Basic Qualification
Radio Amateurs are secondary users in the bands marked with asterisks **, and may not cause interference to primary users. |
