On the left is Dr. Robert Thirsk, Canadian Astronaut, VA3CSA meeting with myself VE6VK. Robert spent a great deal of time in Calgary at the Dr. Robert Thirsk Aero Space Museum. He gave a great talk on his experiences in space. It was an honor to meet him in person.

 

 

 

 

I have been licenced since 1947. The photographs above show some of my activities. The photograph on the left shows me operating from a belly-boat at Hihium Lake BC. The middle photograph was taken atop Skoatl Point (Poison Butte) an extinct volcano cone located northwest of Kamloops BC. The third photograph shows me operating from a packhorse (Shadow) on 20M, from Skitchine Lodge (Dagger Lake) also northwest of Kamloops BC. (See Links for information on Skitchine)
