 We bought our first Dalmatian (Sky)
in 1986. We became hooked on the breed. My husband Gert,
did show her for the first year, then Gert thought
obedience would be the way to go. Sky was our first dog
to get her CD title. After Sky passed away we bought Starr and really got into
showing and training dogs. Gert and I got involved with
the Lethbridge Kennel Club then. Gert and I have both
taught Obedience and Conformation classes for the Club
over the years. We really like the Dalmatian breed and
when we do breed we breed for the betterment of the breed
itself. We have had two litters now and hope to do more
showing and breeding in the years to come. We do feel
that a Dalmatian is not for everyone and encourage people
to look into the breed carefully before buying. There are
many great books to look at and many great web sites to
