McGREGOR LAKE: Fishing all year round. Fire Pits at each campsite. Swimming area. Dock. Modern Playground. Washrooms.
MILO BICYCLE/WALKING PATH: The path is 2.5 km long or 5 km both ways, great for running or walking distance. You can start at the Lutheran Church in town or at Lake McGregor. Well kept summer & winter.
LIONS PARK: Picnic area. Wide variety of playground equipment - modern & some good old fashioned ones too.
TENNIS COURT: The tennis court is for summer use only as it is played inside the skating arena.
SENIORS DROP-IN CENTRE: Crib is played every 1st and 3rd Monday October to April.
MILO HOTEL: Friendly atmosphere. Clean Rooms - Great Rates. Pool Table, VLT's, Meeting Room.
MILO MUNICIPAL LIBRARY: Open 20 hours/week. Visit their website.
CURLING RINK: Active club with a Junior league, Ladies league, Mens league and a Mixed league. Newly renovated in 1998.
BASEBALL DIAMONDS: 2 ball diamonds situated by the school.
SKATING ARENA: Natural Ice.
COMMUNITY HALL: Modernized Fully functional kitchen. Large dance area. Air conditioning. Available for rentals.
MILO CAFE: Good Food - Big Servings. Chinese & Western Menu. Friendly atmosphere.
CHURCHES: Lutheran Church - Services every Sunday.
MAJORVILLE CAIRN: This Medicine Wheel is protected by the Government and is on Government lease land. To help protect the Cairn, it is completely fenced in.
COFFIN HANDLE BUTTE: Located on rolling prairie 4 miles north and 13 miles east of Milo, Coffin Handle Butte was considered "legend" until proven true in 1990. The coffin handle is displayed at Milo Municipal Library.
CROWFOOT FERRY: Open in the summer from 7:00 a. m. to midnight. The scenic drive takes you through great rolling prairie land and acres of oil wells. Unique ride over the Bow River takes you out to the Number I Hwy and the road to Drumheller. (There are only 6 ferries left in the Province of Alberta.) From Milo go 3km East, 13km North, 15km East and lkm North (signs on hwy) Scenic drive from Milo go 12.6 km East, 9.5 km North, 7 km East, 7.7 km North and West and 11 km North.
