To help protect the Cairn, it is completely fenced in. COFFIN HANDLE BUTTE: Located on rolling prairie 4 miles north and 13 miles east of Milo, Coffin Handle Butte was considered "legend" until proven true in 1990. The coffin handle is displayed at Milo Municipal Library. CROWFOOT FERRY: Open in the summer from 7:00 a. m. to midnight. The scenic drive takes you through great rolling prairie land and acres of oil wells. Unique ride over the Bow River takes you out to the Number I Hwy and the road to Drumheller. (There are only 6 ferries left in the Province of Alberta.) From Milo go 3km East, 13km North, 15km East and lkm North (signs on hwy) Scenic drive from Milo go 12.6 km East, 9.5 km North, 7 km East, 7.7 km North and West and 11 km North.
