West Wind Blondes is home to Canada's first Homozygous Polled Fullblood Sires.
West Wind Blondes are continuing to market their bulls by Private Treaty. As in the past, we will take deposits on particular bulls (as chosen by our customers) but

"NO prospective herdsire will leave the farm until he is of an age when a "Breeding Soundness Evaluation" can be performed by a Veterinarian."

West Wind Blondes are featuring a limited number of bulls in the 2011-2012 Bull Evaluation. At West Winds, we believe the tighter the time frame on age of the bulls in the Evaluation, the more valuable the information attained from the Evaluation, and that has been considered again.

Bulls marked homozygous polled have been genetically tested to ensure their status. Purchasers will be provided with a Lab Certificate to confirm that status.

The fusoguard vaccination program will be completed on these bulls in February-March 2012. Ultrasound will be completed at test end.

The bulls in the Test are all fullbloods, polled, 129 Normal, and registered.
