West Wind Blondes is located in Southern Alberta near the Town of Stavely. From our living room you can see the Rocky Mountains and some awesome sunsets.

At West Winds - we believe in total DNA parentage verification for both the herd and animals offered for sale. We maintain a recorded health profile on each animal from birth.

For several years we have used EPDs as a tool in the selection process. We cull for disposition, conformation and performance.

We have for several years market our bulls by Private Treaty. Historically, we have held a fall production sale called the Pick O' The West to market the females, and that is being held again this fall.

Since November 2005, our policy has been that no West Wind Bull leaves the premises without a "Breeding Soundness Evaluation" being performed by a Veterinarian.
