What was your first bike? And why=
did
you choose it?
My Yamaha VStar 650 Classic is my first bike; I signed=
the
papers for her on May 17th, 2008 (my 48th
birthday). I chose her ca=
use
for over 30 yrs I had been on the back of bikes, and quite enjoyed it a=
nd
had always said I would not ever get my bike license. Well my man James had bought t=
he
bike he always wanted an 83 Honda 900 CB Custom. I got on the back of that and =
we
went for a cruise and that was it!&nbs=
p;
It was the most uncomfortable ride I had ever had. That’s when I decided to=
get
my license and get my own bike. That following week I stopped in to
Riverside Yamaha with my son and found my baby. As soon as I sat on her I knew=
that
we were meant for each other. &nb=

What advice do you =
have
for anyone just starting out?
Take a motorcycle course from a reputable school. Don’t be afraid to ask f=
or
help when you need it. Al=
ways
remember to ride in your comfort zone.=
Ride with experienced riders that are aware of your inexperience=
, as
they are always a wealth of information. And most of all have fun and g=
et out
and ride as much as you can!

memorable moments/rides (fun, exciting, meaningful) and why?=
I have gone on a couple of road trips since I bought my
bike. Thinking back I thi=
nk the
most memorable ride was this years Summer Nationals. This was my first nationals an=
d just
being able to ride with members from all over was the best! ( Eventho we
got lost!!)
What is one little =
known
fact about yourself that you would like to share with the other members=
?
I have a very soft heart!
