Here I am at last, the famous and not very anonymous Alix Warden. To tell the truth, the story of pride and prejudice is reasonably well written and reasonably entertaining. The video, however has two main redeeming features. These are as follows:1-we don't have to do any work during the lesson in question tee hee (it is one of our GCSE texts). 2-Well i think you can guess yhis if you read most of the message below. If you are incredibly stupid (or simply have not read these messages) I must tell you that I am totally obssesed with Mr.Fitzwilliam Darcy. Suprise. Suprise. I must add that I have many other obssesions but this is my most recent. La, Colin Firth was a most favourable choice!

I am here with my friend Alix Warden and who is totally obsessed by Mr. Darcy. If she every stopped talking about him it would be a miracle. She absolutely adores you and would do anything to go out with him because she is under your spell which is probably why you are the number one pin up for women's own readers. I like you also but I particularly like Mr. Bingley.

This is by far, the best adaptation I have ever seen of such a marvelous book. I loved it when I first saw it on A&E and I recently received the video collection as a gift. I truly love going home and replaying the scenes that I find most enjoyable - primarily the scene of the unexpected meeting at Pemberley. I just love the look of Mr. Darcy. As terrible as this may seem, I find him most attractive when he drenched and nervous! I am indeed in love with romance itself... Thanks a million times over for this great site. Meg

My felicity upon viewing this movie, which is the greatest in my estimation, was unbounded. I have long been a great admirer of Jane Austen, and received the TV adaptation of Pride and Prejudice as the best of gifts. We are all truly fortunate in such a production as this having been made. Not only is the acting and dialogue excessively diverting, but the costumes and locations make it a joy to watch as well. If only all of Jane's novels could be thus adapted for film!

I would just like to say that my friend Alix Warden is totally obssessed with Mr.Darcy. She finds his manner very sexy and will not stop talking about him. I personally prefer Mr.Bingley!.( Alix thinks you are gorgeous but does not have the internet!)
