I am no longer propagating plants, since I gave the Orchid Collection to the Muttart Conservatory, ie: Orchid Species Preservation Foundation.

The pictures below give you an idea of what my lab looked like.

The propagation cabinet consists of two parts, the upper case contains a single cool white florescent tube that is timed to stay on 8 hours per day.  The tube is placed 12 inches above the flasks. The Erlenmeyer flasks are lain on their side. It is easier to place seed in the flasks when they are on their side and with less chance of contamination.
