Bio - Richard A. Wear

Richard Wear’s passion is photography which is more than obvious when viewing his images. His unique eye interprets and captures the world in a unique and stylized way. His perception for detail and perfection adds to his ability to make every photograph a piece of exquisite art.

Richard received his photographic education at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, where he graduated with distinction.

In 2004, Richard captured top honors in the Nature category of "Photo Life Magazine’s" International Contest. In 2007, 3 of Richard's images made it to the semi-finals in the BBC Wildlife Competition. Richard has received various awards from Kodak as well as numerous professional photographic associations. In addition Richard's images are held in the collections of various corporations, galleries, and individual collections.
